If you're thinking of making it to the Louisiana Beekeepers convention in 2020 let me tell you it will be the time of your life. This year was a blast with a good turn out. There were a lot of good sessions, speakers, competitions, an auction, a banquet and door prizes. They had several great equipment suppliers on hand showing off and selling products as well as several teaching booths. The 2020 convention is going to be huge compared to this year. I believe it is being held in conjunction with the American Honey Producers Association Conference in Baton Rouge, LA. in December. I do plan on attending again. If you have the means I highly recommend it.
I would like to have gotten more video of the seminars for you but I didn't want to be a distraction sitting up front holding a camera up in front of everyone who paid to be there. Also I wanted to pay attention and learn a little something myself.
