After more than three years of living in Mexico, sometimes we forget just what life in the United States is like. We go back often to see family, but we aren't always paying attention to exactly what is going on around is. This time, we were a little more observant of the lifestyle most Americans were living and we remembered why we moved to Mexico in the first place. We are proud to be Americans and proud of many things that our home country represents. However, we are not proud of this new lifestyle that many Americans are living. To be fair to most people living that life, you don't have much of a choice if you want to survive.

But one thing for us is clear after spending two weeks in the United States, we cannot live here again...
