This year's CMA Awards is set to open with a "history-making performance" by 14 female country artists.
The medley will be led by show hosts Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton, and will include Terri Clark, Sara Evans, Crystal Gayle, The Highwomen (Brandi Carlile, Natalie Hemby, Maren Morris and Amanda Shires), Martina McBride, Jennifer Nettles, Tanya Tucker and Gretchen Wilson.
The CMA is also trumpeting a second collaboration, which will see Kelsea Ballerini joined by Lindsay Ell, Maddie & Tae, Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce and Runaway June. They're slated to perform "an iconic CMA Song of the Year and CMA Single of the Year" — which certainly sounds like "Girl Crush," as it will include a special appearance by Little Big Town.
