Toward a more precise medicine in liver disease

My particular interest is about metabolic liver disease, and in particular NASH. The liver is where most reactions take place. The liver has a function that is to take fatty acids from adipose tissue that are transported to the liver and the liver accumulates them and then it release the exact amount. If the amount is very large it ends in a cardiovascular problem. If it is very small, the organism does not reach enough. In 5 years we will begin to have data on which people need to worry, and which people do not need to worry about developing NASH.
