Ease Of Doing Business: India jumps 14 Ranks to 63rd Rank in 2019

Hey Guys,

India has jumped 14 places on Ease of Doing Business in 2019. India now ranks at 63rd position compared with 77th the previous year 2018. India has been among the top 20 performers in improving the Ease of Doing Business ranks. Countries like Pakistan and China have also seen a remarkable improvement in their rankings.

India was able to achieve this by improving massively on 7 out of 10 indicators. India jumped positions massively on issuing construction permits and resolving insolvency.

This change is also important as India has set an ambitious goal of doubling it’s GDP to $5 Trillion by 2024.
