“Attaining 40bn Barrels by 2030 Is Feasible” - Mele Kyari The Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Mele Kyari, on Tuesday, said progress had been recorded in the ongoing exploration of inland basins as he further noted that the target of growing the nation’s reserve to 40 billion barrels by 2023 was achievable.

Kyari made known his optimism when he received the leadership of the Nigerian Association of Petroleum Exploration at the NNPC towers in Abuja.

Crude Oil prices recovered marginally on Wednesday, boosted by positive news from China’s services sector.
Brent crude was up 31 cents, at 58 dollars 57 cents a barrel, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate futures gained 34 cents, at 54 dollars 28 cents a barrel.
