New List of Exempt Species from U.S. Permits (APHIS-PPQ 256) In this episode we discuss a new regulation change made by USDA's Animal Plant Health and Inspection service to its plant protection and quarantine program (PPQ 256 permits). This change adds new species of insects for which permits will no longer be required if moved in the continental US. There are exceptions to this rule, but I will share a number of species names included and implications. At the conclusion of the video we will hold a live Q&A for a bit. Link to list found below:
