93. Dirt Cheap Fifty-Three Foot DREAM CRUISING YACHT [Full Tour] Learning the Lines

93. Dirt Cheap Fifty-Three Foot DREAM CRUISING YACHT [Full Tour] Learning the Lines Originally built in 1972, Durbeck made some really heavy duty cruising yachts, built to go anywhere. The hulls on the fiberglass Durbecks are extremely thick and overbuilt, leading to a heavy-displacement cruiser like this one.

In our opinions, this boat is a great deal for what it is. All old boats need work, but this one is pretty ready to move aboard and start a cruising lifestyle. The biggest things I would tackle would be the electronics, sails, and some cosmetic work, but for the price you can't beat this boat. I doubt you'll find a cheaper boat over 50 feet in this good of condition.

Asking price: $75,000

Learning the Lines is a channel about us, an average couple in our 20's, with big dreams to be sailing the world by the time we're in our 30's. We're not afraid to jump into anything, put in the work, and learn as we go. For this reason our channel is very DIY focused, with the goal to show anyone watching that a lot is possible if you're not afraid to make some mistakes along the way.
