In an attempt to resurrect the fortunes of the Mapusa Urban Cooperative Bank, a group of shareholders urged the State government to take over the affairs by appointing an administrator to the Mapusa-based bank. They demanded to allow the entire shareholder to take part in the election process which is schedule soon.
