Saying Goodbye to Texas. We sold the house. Step 2: Deliver our keepsakes to Oregon. ROAD TRIP!

We are a family of 5 from Texas. We are ditching suburbia and heading to live on a sailboat. Follow along as we learn what we are doing. This will be a great adventure.


We sold the house!!!! We have sold everything we owned. Minus items to take to the boat and a few boxes of keepsakes that we want to store at families houses in Oregon.


We said goodbye to all the people we have come to know and love. Texas was more than just a place to live for us. It was out community, our family and our heart. We love and miss each and every one daily. You are all a part of who we are and who we will become.


Our next stop is Oregon. We will road trip from Texas to Oregon to drop off our things, then head back to Florida (road trip from Oregon to Florida) to finally go buy a boat. And yes, we are taking our 2 cats, Cheddar and Tiger on this whole adventure too.
