I-cord cast off: a Knittycat's Knits technique

I-cord cast off: a Knittycat's Knits technique Video tutorial on how to do an i-cord cast off or bind off. This type of thick, rolled-edge cast off looks very pretty and may help decrease the rolling of the knit fabric (not in all cases though). You only need regular knitting needles for this type of cast off.

When ready to cast off, add 3 stitches using backwards loop cast on as shown in video. Then *knit first 2 stitches, then slip next stitch knitwise, then knit the next stitch and pass over the slipped stitch over this knit stitch (as shown in video). Then transfer 2 stitches from right needle back onto left needle.
Repeat from * until you are down to last 3 sts. Then cast these off doing a regular cast off (as shown in video).
