Many of non-EU citizens are in the same situation. They start their degree, masters or Ph.D. in Spain, and get a student visa. nevertheless, delighted with the Spanish lifestyle, they want to stay and work in the country for the long run.
How to do it? How to get a work permit when you are legally residing with your student visa?
You have three main options:
-Get an initial work authorization to work as an employee. Furthermore, you can also start your own company after presenting your business plan. For that, you will need to have been resident in the country for at least 3 years.
-Receive an offer as a highly qualified worker, which means having a managerial or qualified position and earn a salary accordingly.
-Apply for the so-called residence permit for students who look for a job in Spain, which will allow you to stay in the country for one more year until you find a job or you start your own company.
