More than one month a group of wild elephants entered many villages and destroyed houses and various crops at Kheroni and Jengkha under kheroni southern range forest.






The people of Kheroni and Jengkha were worried about their life to stay in their own household since from one month. The people requested to forest department to protect livelihoods from wild elephants.




The forest department were chasing day and night but the wild elephants were only changing their location to stay.




In the main time yesterday night around 9 pm a Group of wild elephants enter Rikangmihom and Langparpan Bihari bosti and destroyed more than 10 house and many paddy and sugar cane crops.





They cannot cut their paddy, sugar cane and also they cannot work in their own field. Therefore the people of these villages demanded the forest department to immediately chase out elephants from the villages.
