On October 14, 2019, Chris O'Neill paid for a female named Ashley M to walk his dog CoCo in New York City, but Chris got Catfished! Instead, some weird Wag dog walker guy, wearing a Wag T-Shirt that said "A Dog's Best Friend", spent ten minutes casing the place and rummaging through Chris' drawers and property while Coco cried in the background.
"Wag refuses to conduct a proper investigation or identify the criminal wearing their uniform who trespassed on Chris' property", says Susan Chana Lask, the attorney for Chris and who filed the federal consumer fraud class action against Wag, entitled Meli v. Wag in NY Eastern District.
This weird Wag walker spent about ten minutes going through Chris' property the before he finally left.
No-one should let a dog walker near their homes or their dogs unless they are licensed, trained, bonded and insured--something Wag refuses to do", says Lask.
