A 50-50 game. At least we don’t lose anymore - imagine being Everton who’ve lost 6 games! And it’s massive improvement from last season when we lost 0-4! The game though wasn’t high on quality, but it was high on action - this match up is always a draw!! Steve Cook went closest, hitting the bar and Deulofeu’s shot after the skilful run was smothered by Ramsdale. Boy do we owe Foster. The positive is that our defence is stronger. The negative is we’ve only got 2 fully fit strikers and they’re both inconsistent. But substitutions today were wrong. Foulquier??!! He’s trash!! We over complicate play in the final third. We’re playing better than earlier in the season and getting decent results, but it’s not enough and it’s not going to be long before we have to hit the panic button and start winning to save our premier league lives. NEED a win ASAP. 5 goals and 5 points from 10 games is relegation form - please Watford - turn it around!! We’ve just got no threat up top! We just kept losing possession and lazy players like Deulofeu didn’t contest any long balls. A lack of urgency and cohesion. Both teams were at loggerheads - just as shambolic as each other, in a tight affair at a rainy Vic so a 0-0 was probably right. No goals. Generally we gave Bournemouth too much space though and luckily they were so poor, so didn’t make the most of it. But the fact they didn’t turn up makes it annoying we didn’t win. We should be beating mid-table teams like them, especially at home. But then again we could have easily bottled it, with Harry Wilson’s free kick flashing just wide. Phew! But it’s a chance missed - and the game was all about when Hughes had a stinger palmed out. Both Ramsdale and Foster made a couple of outstanding saves, Mike Dean was a twat as usual and Callum Wilson was hilariously bad and should have been sent off for barging Doucoure, off the ball, in the back. Bournemouth were poorer in the second half and we should have been more clinical. Unbeaten in our last 3!! Now let’s conquer high-flying Chelsea!
