Pumpkin seed oil - – Pumpkin seed oil is effective DHT blocker oil. Several studies proved that PSO blocked topical DHT and promoted new hair growth.
Coconut oil – Coconut oil penetrates well into follicles and supplies necessary nutrients to hair. You can use olive oil or castor oil if you don’t want to use coconut oil.
Rosemary oil – Rosemary oil works like topical minoxidil in improving blood circulation and contributes to hair growth. This also adds nice fragrance to our oil
Procedure
Take 8 Saw palmetto 450mg capsules, which gives us a total dose of 3 ½ g approx. Open these capsules carefully and pour the powder on to a sheet of white paper as I am doing here. Now, we collected all the Saw palmetto powder onto this sheet of paper.
Take 2 green tea bags, cut open them, and throw away the content. We just need empty tea bags here. Now fill these tea bags with the Saw palmetto powder. I am carefully filling these bags with the saw palmetto powder. Once you fill the bags, Seal them with the help of a stapler. Make sure you close it tightly.
Now, we have prepared Saw palmetto powder bags. This is critical ingredient in our DHT blocking oil.
In a steel pot, take 1 cup of coconut oil and ½ cup of Pumpkin seed oil.
Now we will use double boiler method to slightly warm up this oil. Take another large saucepan, fill one fourth of it with water. Now carefully dip the pot containing oil into this.
Now, turn on the stove, boil this on simmer, low heat for 10 minutes.
Once the oil is warm enough, switch off the stove.
Toss in the saw palmetto bags into this. Be careful, the oil can be hot. So don’t touch the oil directly.
Wait for the contents to cool down completely. Now slowly and carefully take out the steel pot containing oil and keep it aside. Leave it with the bags like that for 2 hours. This way the saw palmetto is infused very well into the oil.
After 2 hours, carefully remove the bags, squeeze them gently. Now throw them away. To this add 5 drops of rosemary oil.
That’s all, we just made a superb DHT oil. Slightly warm up this oil, every time before applying to hair. Using this oil regularly on hair promotes new hair growth, reduces hair miniaturization and increases hair thickness and density.
Note: This is not suitable for pregnant women and feeding mothers. Also, if you have medical conditions, avoid this oil.
