Should Telling Women to 'Go Home' Offend Them?

Many Christian women were highly offended when John MacArthur told Beth Moore to "Go home." Most Christian women are highly offended when I tell them to "Go home" (be keepers at home). Why? Should they be? Who are they truly angry with about this?
