Local Preacher Alan Beesley led our Morning Service. His subject was Do Something Positive for God and Make Friends.
He talked of the importance of having friends and maintaining friendships, and of the need to be doing things, rather than being idle.
He carried this theme through his whole service, and encouraged the Children by sharing a story that had been requested by one of them. The children joined us at the end of the service and showed a banner they had created, which included pictures showing their thankfulness for the jobs that people do in church.

Luke chapter 21 verses 5 to 19.
