Australia: Residents warned of health hazards as fires rage in New South Wales

Aerial footage filmed on Tuesday shows wildfires burning in the area of Myall Creek Road in New South Wales.

Worsening conditions forced the government to declare a week-long state of emergency. Officials are warning residents across the region including Sydney of health hazards of the smoke caused by fires.

They say the conditions are likely to continue in the next few days as little to no rainfall is expected.
