Vantika Agarwal's resourceful defence helps her to extract half a point against Shuvalova

Polina Shuvalova has been in tremendous form throughout the event. In round 8 she was up against Vantika Agrawal. After the opening it seemed as if the Russian was getting an upper hand. Very soon she won a pawn and it seemed like another victory coming Polina's way. That's when Vantika started playing bold chess and by making active moves, she managed to secure half point and save the game!
