An indoor security camera that costs only $60 is a surefire way to get my attention, but an indoor camera that has facial recognition for that price? Well, that’s a camera I’m going to have to get my hands on.
Aside from having person detection and facial recognition, the Tend Indoor 2 boasts 1080p HD video, an integration with Amazon Alexa, infrared night vision for up to 20 feet away, two-way audio, a week of free cloud storage, plus a field of view that measures 125 degrees diagonally. There’s not too much to complain about, save for the lack of local storage. Also, the camera plugs in, which makes installation and maintenance easier but may not be what you’re looking for.
In this camera, I’ll go over the Tend Indoor 2’s video, audio, night vision, storage, smart platform integrations, artificial intelligence capabilities, convenience, and overall value. Is the Tend Indoor 2 worth your $60? Watch my video review to find out.
