In the homily, Fr. Connole focuses on the First Reading of St. Paul that speaks about the faith of Abraham that empowered Abraham to believe that with God all things are possible. This type of faith, Fr. Connole proclaims from St. Paul's letter to the Romans, is meant for all the faithful, so that all the faithful will believe that with God all things are possible. Continuing from the reading from St. Paul, Fr. Connole explains that St. Paul proclaims that when Jesus died He died for the sins of humanity "who was handed over for our transgressions." Furthermore, from St. Paul's proclamation, Fr. Connole explains that when Jesus was raised from the dead in the Resurrection, St. Paul proclaims that humanity was then justified "and was raised for our justification."
In conclusion, Fr. Connole invites the faithful to be humbled by our redemption through the Crucifixion and be delighted by our justification through the Resurrection.
