People are so accustomed to hearing hype and exaggeration that their minds nullify nearly all superlatives they hear. When I tell people, "This is as easy as it's going to get," they don't hear that. They hear, "My stuff is great... buy it!" Thus, I have to go the extra mile to point out that this is not hyperbole or exaggeration, that there are factual reasons which determine whether something is easy or difficult when it comes to this profession.
The average person thinks online business or network marketing is just "way too hard," and they are right, in most cases it is way too hard for them.
There are specific factors which have to be in place to make it easier.
There is a reason why you don't see me pushing minerals or vitamins. It's not because these are not useful products which help people. I buy such products every single month. I just don't sell them. It's too hard, even for me, and I've been doing this for 22 years.
There is a reason why the average retention period in network marketing is 90 days. There is a reason why most network marketers never sponsor anyone. There are certain criteria that are simply not understood by the average person—by the person who joined "ABC Business" only because their cousin Dwayne dragged them to a meeting, who doesn't have a clue what criteria to use to evaluate their own chances of success.
Sadly, most of you have set yourself up in a situation where it is nearly impossible for you to win.
I purposefully do the opposite. I try to involve myself ONLY with income vehicles which will allow the average person to win. Sure, lots of people say stuff like that, but unfortunately they say so simply as a selling tool. They either don't really mean it, or they don't understand what really needs to be in place for the average person to win.
The fact is, many of these big MLM companies—companies with 500K+ members—have very few people making money. Many of them are losing as many as 60K people per month to attrition. Why?

I do not believe there is anywhere else one can go where they will have as realistic a chance of winning. This is not simply due to what the product is, or who the ownership is... the things that most network marketing presentations cover. After 20 years of doing this it is clear what needs to be in place to help the average person win.
Of course, you cannot help everyone. Some people are their own worse enemy. Some people simply will not get to work, period. That is their choice.
For anyone with a sincere desire to create change, who is ready to get to work, this is as easy as it will get.
