US, China trade deputies to resume talks for first time in 2 months

US and China's deputy trade negotiators would be meeting for the first time in almost two months as the two largest economies try to iron out their policy differences amid the prolonged trade war. The two-day negotiations were meant to prepare for high-level talks come early October, which will determine if the two countries were working towards a solution or headed for more tariffs on each other's goods.
