On the "road trip" to God's destination for your life, do you sometimes feel like you're in "park," and not making progress toward your life's purpose? Sometimes the challenges we face make it tempting for us to settle in the "no parking zone," a place where fears, past mistakes and unforgiveness can hinder us and keep us immobilized as life passes us by. One of the best things we can do is admit that despite past successes, we've come to a point where we have settled short of our goal. No more denials, no more excuses, we must become intentional and honest about where we are, and accountable to God for where He has purposed us to be. To successfully exit the no parking zone, we must dust off the roadmap we set aside and pick it up again, with the understanding that God hasn't given up on us. He's still on our side, empowering us by His grace to shift gears, navigate through rough terrain, maneuver around roadblocks, and arrive at our destination - His best for our lives.
