I decided that seeing as it was a charity ride, they move a bit slower than club rides, so i took my Romet 125 to this one. Plus it's a bit more tractable in the wet and light on the knees if it gets sideways and you need to stomp to stand it up. So in case you're wondering why my audio sounds like a food processor in a hurricane, that's why! Was a well attended ride even though the weather was a touch threatening. The club is a recently formed one, so great effort for a first attempt boys and girls! Here's their facebook page. Please send them some love:
It didn't start that way, but eventually i ended up blocking a few intersections as the ride seemed a touch short on marshaller numbers. We do it often enough to know what needs to happen (and when) without being briefed before the ride. As usual Nate was my blocking wingman so the father and son thing helps too. He's been on my fuel tank since age 2 and if someone can predict what i'm about to do that'll be him! And vice versa.
Now looking forward to next week's upload which will be filmed at the Two Wheels Foundation Malta advanced rider skill day. This event will be held at MonteKristo Estate on 29-09-19 at 09:00. It's a first for Malta and if it flies we are hoping to make it an annual event. If you're on the island it may well be a fun way for you to spend a Sunday morning.
