Bicipital tendinitis is the Inflammation of the biceps tendon causing pain. Speed’s test and Yergason’s test are performed to evaluate whether the condition exists or not. The techniques which are elaborated in this lecture for the treatment of bicipital tendinitis encompass biceps tenotomy, lasso technique, biceps tenodesis, and arthroscopic decompression.

Then ruptures of biceps tendon are highlighted. Following this, the hourglass biceps is considered whose clinical features include buckling of the tendon on elevation and instability of the biceps. Likewise, lesions of the labrum known as SLAP lesions are delineated which are confirmed by the O’Brien’s Test.

Later on, frozen shoulder characterized by stiffness and pain comes under consideration. Along with conservative treatment of Shoulder Injuries, arthroscopic capsular release is also a treatment of choice for frozen shoulder i.e. one of the shoulder injuries.
