Is Kevin Smith's HE-MAN reboot just another SHE-RA situation?

Netflix announced today that Kevin Smith would be the showrunner on the animated reboot of MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE: REVELATION. This He-Man continuation apparently focuses more on Teela than Prince Adam himself, and to some fans this could be another SHE-RA & THE PRINCESSES OF POWER situation. I have faith in Kevin Smith, but some people are not going to like the official description.
