HOW TO: Lose weight & gain muscle at the same time (Body recomposition) Hey guys in this video my team and I break down how to lose weight and gain muscle at the same time. This is called a body recomposition. We go over if it's possible, who would be a prime candidate, and our own personal stories.

according to science When it comes to fat loss and building muscle a prime candidate would be someone who is new to training, and overweight. It is possible to do both at the same time but the longer you train the harder it becomes.

We would suggest that when you advance in your lifting career you pick your goal and stick to it. so if you want to get that summer shred focus on cutting, if you want to get strong focus on being a surplus and "bulk". It will make the progress much easier to achieve the goal. Hopefully this gives you some motivation to get after it and get ripped or swole!
