In this video, we look at a flexible bite splint or nightguard milled from material that can be processed on a high precision industrial-strength milling machine such as the imes icore 350i PRO. Notice the impressive flexibility of the material. Despite the softness, this will mill out nicely without gumming up your mill. Precision and accuracy are excellent, this is fitted to a Polyjet model printed on a Stratasys Dental 3D printer.

Equally impressive is the material's clarity, much better than thermoflex and involves no manual labor. Plus, if you have a mill equipped with a Loader, this process can be completely automated. 2 can be nested on a single blank, and with a 12 position loader that's 24 splints per cycle.
