The Orthodox Church has filed a contempt petition in the Supreme Court stating that the Kerala government has not done anything to implement the 2017 apex court directive in the Malankara Church case. As the state government failed to implement the court order, Orthodox Church in the plea requested the apex court to send central force to Kerala to implement the order.
