Kakum National Park is located in the coastal environs of the Central Region of Ghana. The area is covered with tropical forest. It is one of only 3 locations in Africa with a canopy walkway. At 40 m (130 ft) height, visitors can view plants and animals from a vantage point that would otherwise be inaccessible to people. The canopy walkway passes over 7 bridges and runs over a length of 330 m (1,080 ft). Some of the tree canopies are more than 50 metres (160 ft) in height. More info:
