Do I Approve of the New StewMac Shipping System? | Trogly's Boxing + Unboxing Vlog Ep 20

Do I Approve of the New StewMac Shipping System? | Trogly's Boxing + Unboxing Vlog Ep 20 Correction: It was a little unclear if the total price for the "box picture" on the website included everything, but after taking a second look - it appears that it does. That means it is $60 for a pack of three plus the $23 shipping cost + $9 for a pump for a total upfront cost of $30.66 - Or you have the option to buy the inflateables yourself. If you're a StewMax member and get free shipping and once you already have a pump, that gets down to $20 or as low as $17 a piece if you buy in 6pack+ sizes. This can be a really affordable and competitively priced shipping system depending on a few factors.

StewMac started carrying this new Aeris Shipping system last week and they made a video about it that immediate gained some traction with people who have also viewed my show. The top comment on the video was asking my opinion of this product so I reached out to StewMac to see if I could get a product sample. I was not paid to make this video, but I was given a 3-pack of their shipping system as well as a promise of a 2nd 3-pack of their "just guitar" shipping system once it was back in stock.

On my first pack job, I didn't inflate the top hat correctly and was a little worried about what protection this system actually offered or if maybe I got a defective unit. It turned out it was user error (likely from having the wrong pump.) When properly inflated, this system does work as advertised, however, there are still a few areas I would like to see improved.

The top hat isn't quit a tight enough of a fit. I believe including 4-6 sheets of Brown Kraft paper per guitar in the kit would make these perfect and not add too much more to the overall cost. Just a little more support in the midsection makes these an awesome cookie-cutter box kit. I was also like to see and additional 2-5 bubble sections on the top hat to eat up a little bit extra dead space.

If you don't have free boxes around your area or you need a professional look for your business - I think you'd like the Aeris StewMac System. It is pretty good!
