Ram Dass - After all, we are just walking each other home... It is the embodiment of saying I’ve got you.
We all just are looking for love and to be loved, not to be alone. The demons we all face are often similar but project into the world differently in addictions, words and behaviors. It would be so wonderful if we could all understand each other and see we are not too dissimilar all looking for love and not to be alone. How so many of us want to badly escape our bodies, people and ourselves to love and accept us instead of shame and judge us, want the world to exist on our own terms. Maybe we can all rewrite our stories but we must stop intertwining love and escapism through our abilities to not accept and acknowledge what is. To change our lives and ourselves we must first acknowledge and accept where we are so we can direct to where we want to go. We must start talking about our stories instead of being ashamed and give space for others to do the same. Even though we all have trauma inherited or bestowed upon or we created - deaths of children, family, miscarriages, physical and mental abuse, homes lost, bankruptcies, job loss, floods, moving away from all we know, eating disorders, mental disabilities, floods and so much more we are all still alive walking each other home and it’s time to do it with love ❤️
