Sivara Normal and Sivara Heroic guide! Abyssal Commander Sivara is a raid boss in the Eternal Palace raid of BfA. This Sivara boss guide will show you the Sivara abilities that you'll see in the Normal, Heroic and LFR versions of the Sivara fight. Mythic Sivara has additional mechanics not shown in this Normal and Heroic Sivara guide. Footage of Sivara for this boss guide is from PTR raid testing and some mechanics may look different or change when the Eternal Palace raid releases on live servers starting July 9th. Also when I say at the end 'check for more raid guides' that's really for future viewers watching this after the darn thing comes out. More fight videos on their way! The key to Sivara is being aware of your color, and staying clear of both players and mechanics with the other color. You'll be branded with either a blue or green Chimaric Mark debuff at the beginning of the Abyssal Commander Sivara fight. It's recommended to mark halves of the room for each color to avoid touching opposite-color players. If you mix colors, Unstable Mixture will do raid damage and multiple Unstable Mixtures at once can be deadly.
Tanks will need to swap on 4+ stacks and then get out before their debuff falls off to drop the pool somewhere safe. Players with Overflow similarly need to get to the edge to drop their pools. Crushing Reverberation will knockback the entire raid (not just people in the cleave!) so don't stand in front of pools directly, and especially don't stand in front of the wrong color of pool.
Soak Javelins (Frostshock Bolts) by putting a player of the correct color in line, then right click their pinned spear to get them out. At 100 energy, get to the correct side of the boss (matching your color) for Overwhelming Barrage and dodge bolts.
Heroic Sivara gets upgraded Chimaeric Marks- Frost Marks need to keep moving to prevent their new UI bar filling, while Poison Marks need to reduce movement to avoid filling their bar. A filled Frost bar on the Sivara fight means a 5 second freeze, while a filled poison bar will disorient you for 5 seconds. Additionally, Inversion on the Heroic Abyssal Commander Sivara also flips the colors of all pools on the ground.
