How Chinese firms do well in Russia

The new strategic partnership for China and Russia is a model for the world's major powers to coexist well and to work on win-win cooperation. With closer relations between China and Russia, many of China's state-owned enterprises are at the forefront of cooperation with their Russian partners. But with trade barriers and populism on the rise, how do they build mutual trust with their Russian and American partners amid an adverse geopolitical environment? One of the important players in the field is The Poly Group in China, a state-owned enterprise which has been engaged in cooperation deals and cultural businesses in Russia for years. Tian Wei sat down with Xu Niansha, Chairman of the Poly Group, who shared his thoughts on the potential of the Russian market and how his company started cultural businesses in Russia.
