Yes, yes, this is something I've discussed briefly previously, and it is a tactic that's generally used only for higher caliber candidates, above and beyond just generalized labor as I've talked about before.

When you find a candidate by way of networking or just connecting otherwise, that is looking, actively, this can be a very lucrative opportunity for you to 1. Help someone and 2. Make a nice fee. & 3. Establish a new account where you can place more people!

Here's how it's done:

1. Find/network with established / well qualified candidate in most any field.

2. Agree with them on representing them to various companies based on their "asks" (their terms they desire on salary, location etc)

3. Market them out to their particular niche group of companies, by sending out emails, cold calls or personal networking on LinkedIn with an agenda.

4. Use your candidate as bait. Basically get the client to understand that you have exactly what they need or even what they don't know they need yet, but do.

5. Close a deal - Get your candidate in the door, with an agreement and a fee structure where the company pays you a standard fee you'll set once you determine the caliber and need for the candidate (we'll go into this in later videos).

6. You've just established a brand new account, so WORK IT. Find out what other roles they're hiring for and HELP this company fill them, become their next best hiring asset after you've placed your skilled worker with them!

There's a lot more nuance to this but those are the basics!
