Since I began adding cow manure to my trace nutrients copperas and magniesium sulfate (spelling may not be accurate), I have noticed my red stems and yellow leaves are lessening rather than increasing as with the past seasons. I also determined that the manure only need be added every other year to get the same results bringing down my cost of operation and getting it to the location with less effort, this garden probably had two wheel barrows worth of manure and I think I paid @$40 for 20 wheel barrows worth. Definitely a wise investment .
I will upload another video during full sunshine so people can see the happiness of these plants in their full glory. I had a problem with snakes this year eating numerous large lower leaves which set back the branches quite a bit, but after replacing the lizard cage for a second time, the snakes did not return to munch any more leaves and i was able to remove then permanently once they were larger and out of reach of the snakes. If you have lizards or snakes or rabbits or foxes, you should not need all the expense and effort of fencing.
