Hummus 2 Ways | Delicious Brownie Batter Dip | WFPB MeetUp

Hummus 2 Ways | Delicious Brownie Batter Dip | WFPB MeetUp Hummus 2 Ways and delicious Brownie Batter Dip, for our WFPB MeetUp. Hummus can be made so many different ways. Here I used lemon, garlic and artichoke hearts in one, and roasted red peppers in another. Brownie Batter dip made with black beans and dates...so good!

For each dip, I made it in the food processor. Just keep scraping down the sides and blending till you get the consistency you like.

Hummus #1:
1 15 oz can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
1 T tahini (or more if you prefer)
Juice of 1/2 a lemon (or more if you prefer)
1-2 garlic cloves
1/2 can artichoke hearts, drained and rinsed
About 1/4 cup water to make it blend well

Hummus #2:
Same as above, except instead of artichokes I used 1 roasted red bell pepper from a jar

Brownie Batter Dip
1 15 oz can black beans, rinsed and drained
About 10 medjool dates, pitted and soaked in water till softened, drained--process in food processor with about 1/4 cup water till blended
About 4 T cacao powder
About 1 tsp vanilla extract
About 1/4 T water to get dip to consistency you like
Topped with vegan chocolate chips
